Andrew's guitar/piano tab page
A pretty damn good source for piano and guitar music
Hello people. First off, I would like to point out that a good portion of the music is rock/pop from the sixties, seventies and eighties, and only the best from those eras. There is no techno, disco, hip-hop, punk rock, or @#$$# on this page.
If you believe that something in one of my tab or chord pages is not right, please e-mail me with the correct version.
Please send any tabs or chords you know for any song, as the amount I have right now is as miniscule as possible.
If you would like to know exactly what guitar tabs are, please see the next portion. If you already know or are not a guitar player, please scroll to the bottom to get right to it.
How to read tablature
Tablature is, in basic terms, sheet music for guitar. There are six lines for normal guitars and four lines for bass guitars. Each line symbolizes a string, in this manner:
e-----
b-----
g-----
d-----
a-----
E-----
The uppercase E is the bass string while the lowercase e is the high e.The numbers tell you what fret is held down on the string. For example, a G7 would be shown as:
----1
----0
----0
----0
----2
----3
If you still are unable to read tablature, please seek more information at
